Speaking Up: Angels Gate High School

Last Sunday’s Daily Breeze ran a front-page story exploring whether an annex of San Pedro High School at Angels Gate would create a “two-campus divide.”

The lengthy story quotes school district officials, grassroots opponents from the N.O.I.S.E group and community leaders. Dozens of public comments have been posted.

NO on SRHS#15 at Angel's Gate... just about the whole community is opposing the $103 million dollar project..

The money should go to San Pedro High School to fix and build new building and replace those 47 portable classion.....!

With all the budget cuts in the school system, why would LAUSD continue to build more schools if they don't even have enough money to pay the teachers?

A new high school in San Pedro does make sense at this time!
