re Fight On Triathalon -- whomever granted the permit for this event failed to consider that at 530 a.m. most Point Fermin residents are asleep, and having a PA system blaring from them until 7 a.m. plus really isn't a good way to start the weekend. Even with double-paned windows and good insulation, they might as well as have been broadcasting in our bedroom. (Undoubtedly someone downtown doesn't know that the hills here act as a giant amphitheater, so that when noise is generated at the beach/harbor, it travels up the hillside to all the residents. Of course, we'll have the same issue with a cruise ship terminal at Kaiser Point, but I digress.) IF there is a next time, the PA system needs to be restricted as to time of day (after 7am, at least) and amount of use.

1 DAY LEFT

Angelenos complain and continue to reelect these same ineffective politicos over and over which is why the politicos do as he/she pleases with no accountability to their constituents. Don’t be fooled by the colorful fliers and twenty second media sound bites during elections. Vote these same LA Politicos out of office on March 3, 2009.

Vote for CHANGE!

Measure A: NO
Measure B: NO
Measure E: NO

The parking meter thing is not the greatest thing to happen in San Pedro considering it used to be 25 cents and hour, but in downtown LA the meters are $ 4 dollars and hr!! and you have to pay up until 8 or 9pm! what a rip off!
